Sono rimasto colpito dalle bellezza architettonica delle chiese e cattedrali una diversa dall’altra. Hanno esterni turriti e decorati con statue , bassorilievi scolpiti e poi le stupende vetrate colorate con disegni e scene della cultura cristiana.
Gli interni hanno altari con sculture marmoree o lignee e le volte sono talvolta rivestite di legno dipinto. Gli ingressi talvolta hanno dei portici con le statue degli apostoli o santi. Ogni chiesa ha la sua storia e ci vorrebbero pagine per descrivere quelle della galleria. Le immagini rappresentano gli esterni con qualche vista interna e di una parte delle chiese visitate. D’altronde sono tantissime e avrebbero appesantito la galleria.
I was struck by the architectural beauty of the churches and cathedrals, each one different from the other. They have turreted exteriors and decorated with statues, carved bas-reliefs and then the beautiful stained glass windows with drawings and scenes of Christian culture.
The interiors have altars with marble or wooden sculptures and the vaults are sometimes covered with painted wood. The entrances sometimes have arcades with statues of the apostles or saints. Each church has its own history and it would take pages to describe those of the gallery. The images represent the exteriors with some internal views and a part of the churches visited. On the other hand, there are so many and they would have made the gallery heavier.
