Sculture del tempo - Time sculptures

Nell’osservare le formazioni rocciose viste durante il nostro viaggio, viene da pensare che non si siano formate cosi per caso ma, che un misterioso scultore abbia fatto questo lavoro. Il personaggio in questione c’è ed è il “tempo”. Non ha utilizzato martelli o scalpelli o lime ma ha avuto degli aiutanti che sotto la sua direzione gli hanno permesso di formare le meraviglie che oggi ammiriamo. Il freddo ed il caldo, la pioggia ed il vento, i terremoti e gli uragani in tutte le loro combinazioni sono stati degli strumenti efficienti ed impareggiabili nel plasmare le forme della sua fantasia ed all’uomo è rimasto solo il compito di dare un nome alle sue opere.

Ed ecco il Delicate Arch, la Balanced Rock, le presenze del Devil’s Garden, il White Dome, i Goblin, gli Hoodoos, Cave Springs, Crystal Forest e l’elenco può continuare per molto in questo censimento di opere d’arte naturale.

Per portare alla luce queste meraviglie il “tempo” se le presa comoda ci ha impiegato qualche centinaio di milioni di anni però ha fatto un bel lavoro. Godiamoci la bellezza di queste sculture ed espandiamo la nostra mente nei grandi spazi dei parchi del sud-ovest, guardando alcuni frammenti di queste emozioni….

In observing the rock formations seen during our trip, you'd think that they weren't formed so by accident but by a mysterious sculptor who has done this. The character in question exists and it is 'time'. It did not use hammers, chisels or files but had helpers that under his supervision have allowed it to form the wonders that we admire today. The cold and the heat, the rain and the wind, earthquakes and hurricanes in all their combinations have been the efficient and unmatched tools in shaping the forms of his imagination and only man is left the task of naming his works of art.

And here is the Delicate Arch, Balanced Rock, the attendance of the Devil's Garden, the White Dome, the Goblins, the Hoodoos, Cave Springs, Crystal Forest and the list can go on endlesslyt in this census of natural works of art.

To unearth these wonders 'time' it has taken its, it has taken a few hundred million years, however, it has done a good job.

Let's enjoy the beauty of these sculptures and open our minds in the large spaces of the Southwest parks, watching some fragments of these emotions ....
