Introduzione
Questa galleria di viaggio è dedicata alla Sardegna che ho visitato con mia moglie in primavera nel periodo inizi di Aprile e inizi di maggio. Ho scoperto il volto primaverile di questa meravigliosa isola e ne sono rimasto incantato dai profumi, colori e fioriture. Secondo la leggenda il Creatore la “assestò” con il suo piede dandole l’impronta di un sandalo: Ichnusa e Sandalion sono i nomi antichi attribuiti da Greci e Fenici.
La Sardegna può essere considerata un mini continente ricco di biodiversità, di endemismi e di un ambiente quasi incontaminato con spiagge stupende, coste ed baie che scopriamo con stupore, boschi e pascoli a perdita d’occhio. Un altro aspetto caratteristico della Sardegna sono i suoi nuraghi che risalgono a 3000 anni fa e che sono distribuiti in tutta l’isola. Riguardo le opere dell’uomo notevole interesse rivelano anche dal punto di vista artistico le numerosissime chiese in stile romanico.
Vista la grande varietà di aspetti che quest’isola offre ho suddiviso le immagini in base a dei temi più specifici.
Introduction
This travel gallery is dedicated to Sardinia that I visited with my wife in spring in the period beginning of April and beginning of May. I discovered the spring face of this wonderful island and I was enchanted by the scents, colors and blooms. According to the legend, the Creator 'settled' it with her foot giving it the imprint of a sandal: Ichnusa and Sandalion are the ancient names attributed by the Greeks and Phoenicians.
Sardinia can be considered a mini continent rich in biodiversity, endemics and an almost untouched environment with beautiful beaches, coasts and bays that we discover with amazement, woods and pastures as far as the eye can see. Another characteristic feature of Sardinia are its nuraghi which date back to 3000 years ago and which are distributed throughout the island. Regarding the works of man, the numerous churches in Romanesque style also reveal considerable interest from an artistic point of view.
